Farmhouses

2003 was the 'year of the farmouse'. I made some paintings of farmhouses for this event.

The wooden barns that are characteristic for Zeeland are often painted black and have traditional white stripes.

Besides that there are barns in other colours, which differs per region.
For these paintings I have focusses on the large doors with the smaller doors for daily use.
