My birthdate is the 15th of march 1957. I was born in a small village, Nieuwdorp (Zeeland, in the south of The Netherlands).
Together with my wife Annet and son Edward I live in ’s-Heer Hendrikskinderen.
The former village school is located near our house and is now in use as my studio.
I have completed the education for teachers in Tilburg, during the years 1976-1981.

The landscape of Zeeland is the main subject for my paintings. I make also drawings and collages.
I was a member of De Zeeuwse Kunstkring, a group of artists, from 1998 till 2005.
I am registrated by the CBK (Centre for Visual Art) Zeeland since 2007.
I work as a teacher on a secondary school, where I teach visual arts and cultural education.
My paintings are in private collections.
